ABSTRACT

The Sacred Art has always played an important role in the history of Catholicism and the art itself. Currently retains the same purpose and is still present through works by contemporary artists. This work is proposed to check what are the teaching materials used by the visual catechesis, study the feasibility of using illustrative images in religious instruction, as would trying to understand the applicability of the combined use of art and education.

Resumo

A Arte Sacra sempre teve um papel relevante na história do catolicismo e na da própria arte. Atualmente conserva os mesmos propósitos e ainda se faz presente por meio de obras de artistas contemporâneos. Este trabalho tem como proposta verificar quais são os materiais didáticos visuais utilizados pela catequese, pesquisar a viabilidade da utilização de imagens ilustrativas no ensino religioso, buscando compreender como aconteceria a aplicabilidade do uso conjunto de arte e ensino.
